Nigel was asked to work with a film crew in Egypt in June, making a documentary about the Cairo Museum. He was asked to go to Luxor to talk about various things to do with the mummy of Ramesses II. Elvis went along. Elvis is so named as we got him in Graceland in 2001, and he insisted on mostly wearing his leather jacket all the time despite temperatures over 50C.

The highlight of the visit was opening the royal cache at Deir el-Bahari where the mummy of Ramesses was found. Few have been into this, and Elvis must surely be the only bear to have visited.
